Collection: Mineral cabochons

Cabochons are cut and polished stones without facets. The typical shape is oval, round or semi-round, with a flat bottom.

Why is bevel-free grinding used:

• Maintaining a natural appearance
• Semi-translucent or opaque stones - faceting would not enhance their beauty
• Easy to insert into jewelry - the flat underside of the cabochon allows for a secure fit
