Create the right atmosphere for work
Maybe listen to meditation music, a podcast, or just focus on the creation itself. Your mood greatly influences what you create.
Tidy up your workspace
This is a classic. How you arrange the space around you, or even your working posture, is important.
Take breaks
Stretch, exercise, clear your head.
Regularly tighten knots and check symmetry while working
This is important, especially if you're creating a new pattern you're unfamiliar with. Always have a pin handy in case you need to undo part of the product.
Use quality materials for production
The material you use significantly affects the entire look of the product. That's why I don't use poor-quality materials. Even dull scissors or an unsuitable lighter can make the work unpleasant.
Get inspired
Look for inspiration everywhere, whether it's from competitors, architecture, other art forms, or nature.
Write down patterns
If you like a certain pattern and want to make it multiple times, it's a good idea to record it, draw it, or write it down.
Come to my workshop or book a private lesson with me
If you want to move forward and find YouTube videos unclear, or they're no longer enough for you and you want to learn something new, more complex, or you simply like my work, contact me. I offer private lessons, or you can follow my social media for information on when group workshops are held.
I hope these tips will make your production easier! 🧚🏼
