So I finally sat down and thought about the path that led me to the creation that is supposed to actually support me 😆. How did it all start? 🤔
When I first started creating, it was as a child, when I played with beads and strung them on fishing line, which I could only find in fishing tackle shops.
Back then, there was nothing, the internet, mobile phones, just a different world that I remember fondly. My best friend and I were just very inventive with a great imagination, we simply had nothing left. So we invented various things, from our own board games to funny tape recordings to creative skits that we presented to our parents.
And as I was stringing beads on fishing line and making bracelets and wearing them to school, a friend told me to start selling them. Which didn't happen in the end, but I made a few bracelets for my friends. Then I discovered the magic of dance, at that time oriental dance was all the rage and after dance classes I literally fell in love with ballroom dancing. And of course, dance dresses. So I started sewing costumes and sticking various Preciosa stones on them or, at the height of luxury, Swarovski stones, and in those dresses I traveled all over the Czech Republic to various competitions. And how did I get into Macrame? I simply wanted to create, to be creative, I got that from my mother, who also creates. Macrame is simply a technique of braiding strings that captivated me and transported me to another world in which I simply want to live. I first discovered Macrame on Instagram, first Micro, and then I saw beautiful handbags and that was what I wanted to do. And so came a journey full of trials and errors, but thanks to them you grow and are always moving somewhere. What I often forget is that creation should be the main priority when it comes to work and then everything else around it is a secondary matter.
