Handicraft markets have a unique atmosphere that no e-shop can replace. The smell of coffee, the murmur of conversations, children's laughter, and creativity everywhere – this is exactly the environment where my Macramé products truly come to life. 🧚🏼
Selling at markets is always a small adventure for me.
At 6 AM, a thermos of coffee, boxes full of macramé, and a slight nervousness, constantly checking the weather forecast – that's how every market day begins for me.
What kind of people do I meet?
Days among the stalls are like a journey through a landscape full of different beings. Sometimes you meet those who stop for a moment, caress your creation with their gaze, and appreciate the magic hidden in each piece with a smile. They often share stories of their own creative process and understand how much time, patience, and heart goes into such work. In those moments, I feel like we understand each other without words.
And then there are other wanderers.
Those who pass by like the wind – without words, without stopping. Or those who drop a remark that's more chuckle-worthy than thought-provoking. "I have a drawer full of such trinkets at home," someone might say into the silence. Or "I can make that myself at home." Or: "I prefer gold." "I'm not into these things." 🤣 I'll write a separate chapter about these comments....
That's also part of the story.
Because each of us is different – as if from another world. And it's precisely in that diversity that the magic lies.
And you know what? I love all of you. 🧚🏼
Because you are the ones who give meaning to my work. You are the spark that drives me to create, even when the path is not always filled with light.
And as for what you choose?
Some choose by color, others by feeling. And sometimes a piece of jewelry chooses its owner itself. Mostly, women don't want to experiment and don't buy striking pieces. Which is a shame, because, for example, my necklaces can be worn with everyday outfits. I will make a separate article on how to combine them correctly.
If you buy a product from me, you are also buying all the work that goes into it. It's not just "create and sell," 🙂 the price also includes experience, hours of work, promotion, photography, filming, editing, processing, a lot of thinking and trying, unsuccessful products that don't make it to the market, searching for new designs, arranging, preparing for markets and time spent there.
The presentation of the products themselves also plays a big role for me. My small stand is gradually transforming, as if looking for its true form. I share it with my mom, who creates from polymer clay – each of us puts a piece of our world into it, and together we create a place where two stories intertwine.
Where can you find me?
You can find me at markets in West Bohemia.

Markets have taught me not to be afraid to talk about my work. And also that handmade creations still have their place.
Next time you walk past a handmade craft stall, there might be a story behind it that's worth discovering.
Thank you for your support 🧚🏼
